The day of the ceremony came and the rains in the morning were torrential. At breakfast we all talked about how wet the spring had been and all of us checked our favorite weather sites and apps looking to see what the outlook was for later in the morning when the ceremony was scheduled. As luck would have it, Weather Underground had the forecast exactly correct! The heavy rains abated mid-morning and the skies retained enough of an overcast to give me perfect lighting for my photoshoot.
The Hosta Garden at the Springfield Botanical Gardens is a lovely venue and the rain held-out for the ceremony!
